Saved drafts
Drafts and photos stay in this browser on this device. Autosave and Save draft keep answers, photos and signatures here. They do not sync to other devices. Private browsing, clearing site data, or browser storage eviction can remove local drafts. After a crash, reopen the last completed save; changes still marked Unsaved may be lost. Keep an editable backup in Files / Downloads for important work.

Save draft keeps an editable form in this browser. Export PDF makes the report to send to your boss.
Editable backup & previous save
A backup is a portable editable copy with photos and signatures. Download it to Files / Downloads, then use Open editable backup on the forms screen. Your older “recovery” JSON files still work.
The previous save is only one earlier autosave, not a full version history. An editable backup preserves the version you choose to download.
Nothing is emailed automatically. Dictation may use your browser provider; forms and photos stay on this device. Capturing a photo here does not automatically put it in your phone gallery. Use Save photo or Share photo beside the image, then your device’s Files / Photos options. Save photo downloads the report copy (up to 1600 pixels); keep camera originals separately if you need full resolution.
